Setting up Traffic Hoopla
The good people at Traffic Hoopla do extensive
research on the traffic exchanges. They have been
doing this for many years. They know what they are
doing so there is no guess work for you. This is
where we will get our main traffic exchanges to
surf. Traffic Hoopla is not a traffic exchange. It
is a downline builder. Login to your account at
TrafficHoopla. Once
you are logged into your account, look to your left
and click on the link that says 'First Join'. (They
change the wording on this link from time to time
but it will always be the first list.) If you are
already a member of any of these programs, fill in
your ID for that program on the TrafficHoopla page. (This is not your ID for
TrafficWave or My Instant Biz. It is not a url of
any sort. It is the ID for that traffic exchange. If
you don't understand this,
read this)
If you have never used a traffic exchange program
before, read
Setting Up an Exchange.
Join any of the programs
on the list that you have not joined in the past.
Follow the sign up process. (Remember to add your
login information to your Notebook on your desktop.)
Organization
You DO NOT need to send me
any of these IDs. Just add them to the appropriate
spot in TrafficHoopla and save them for your
records.
Some of these programs will ask you for your
website URL during the sign up process, some will
have you enter it later. When it asks you for your
website URL, you will enter your rotator url that
you receive on the previous page.
If you did not get your rotator url yet, you
can not continue! Go back here
and get your rotator url.
If the site asks for your website name you can
add what ever you want to add there. It is for your
reference only. I usually add MIB.
If your URL isn't asked for during the sign up
process, find the place to add this after you sign
up (in each individual traffic exchange) and add
your rotator URL at that time. Most of these
Traffic Exchange programs will have Auto-Confirm. Be
sure to go to your website page within each program
and follow the instructions to confirm your URL.
***
Take your time, this can be a little confusing.
Each program is a little different so I can't give
you specific instructions here. If you can't figure
it out on any of the sites look for help in the forum.
You are not the first person who didn't understand.
It is very important that
you
assign credits when you surf. Accumulating
credits is not our goal here. Using your credits is
your goal. When you set up your url at the
exchanges, most of them will have a place where you
can auto-assign your credits. Set this to 100% when
ever possible. Some have a link you need to click to
turn auto-assign on. A couple exchanges will always auto
assign, a couple exchanges do not offer an auto assign
option. Stop back
in to the exchanges about once a week and make sure
your credits are assigned!
These programs listed on Traffic Hoopla will change
from time to time depending on their performance.
Be sure to check them
about once a week so you will have people
joining from programs that you have already joined.
If you are feeling ambitious and have the time to
spare, join the programs on the second list as well. Don't forget to keep track of all your login info
in your text file on your desktop.
DO NOT join the safelists at this time.
They produce an enormous amount of email and you
will soon be overwhelmed with junk mail if you join
them. I know this is a lot to do and you may be feeling
over worked and frustrated at this point. Hang in
there. You only have to do all this set up stuff
once. After that, all you do is surf.
If you have completed
the above instructions, move on...
