Working With TrafficSwarm

Traffic Swarm is a little different from most traffic exchanges, so here are a few tips for using it:

If you are not a member, join up - it's free. (Use the link in your TrafficHoopla account)

Go to the login page, enter your user ID, given to you when you signed up, your password, and enter. You will get an advertisement, but at the bottom right of the page, is a link "Continue to my account" which you click.

The member page may look quite complex at first, but you'll soon find your way around.

The first thing you'll want to do is add your URL so that you can advertise it, so go down the page to "Manage Your Site Promotions", where you'll see "Add a New Site Address"

This will open a new box.

• Step One is where you enter the URL of the site you wish to have shown.
   
• Step Two - Enter a headline for your ad; something catchy is best. (There are some ideas here)
   
• Step Three is where you select the size of your ad. Just leave it at "Regular" until you're more familiar with Traffic Swarm.
   
• Step Four is the place to write a short description of the program you are advertising. Make it as interesting as you can in 125 characters.
   
• Step Five - here you can choose the category for your ad. Three is the maximum.
   
• Step Six is where you can set a maximum amount of credits to be used in a day. Leave it blank for no limit, or 100%.

Now you are all done - just go to the bottom of the box and click on "Update", and you'll be returned to your member page. Oh yes, it may take a few hours for your site to be approved, but you can start surfing right away.

At the top of the page you'll see a heading "Earn FREE Credits and Traffic" with several links beneath it.

Click "Surf for Credits" and you'll get a new page with about 8 ads on it. Click on one of these, and wait until the counter says go, click on that, and you'll get a choice of ads again. You're now surfing Traffic Swarm!

Note: If the ads title is in a yellow box, you've already seen this ad, so it's not available. If you click on it, you won't get credit.

There are plenty of other features in Traffic Swarm, but these can wait until you're more familiar with the site. Enjoy!
